Greetings,
Nice to find a rather new knife forum.
Any old Jerzee Devil members up in here?
Anyway, thanks for having me.
Cheers!
[KnifeNews] Viper Debuts New Cross-Bar Lock Knife from Denis Simonutti
Viper has a new folder out now, designed by Denis Simonutti. It’s called the Oniro, and it’s been built with an ambidextrous locking mechanism and a blade made from the steel of the hour. Simonutti is a returning champion in the Italian knife scene, responsible for a number of designs from MKM and Fox. For […]

A friend wanted to trade a knife for some work I did on an old German Hunting Dagger of his that needed repair. It's an Arno Bernard knife. I'm usually picky about ergonomics but am pleasantly surprised at how good this knife feels in my hand.
He Emailed me a couple of pictures ahead of time and here they are.
Edit.....Sorry about no pics before. I don't know what went wrong.
[KnifeNews] Ostap Hel Designs Sencut’s First Neck Knife
Last week we covered the Real Steel Knives Astral, an Ostap Hel fixed blade with a tactical bent. Now we’re taking a look at the Sencut Texo, another Hel fixie, but in an entirely different size class. It has been a few years since the neck knife had its heyday. New neck knife releases aren’t […]

I want to get my granddaughter started right. (I also want to get my granddaughter started.) Several years ago I bought a Leatherman Leap. It’s a multi tool with a removable blade. The idea being that you can give it to a kid without the blade, and add the blade when they’re ready. I bought it before I had a specific kid in mind. My daughter-in-law doesn’t think my granddaughter is ready. Something about 2 years old being too young, or whatever.
Leatherman has recalled all of them, but I still have one. Not sure why, but something about the adding the blade, I think. Maybe when she’s ready she can have it without the blade.
Small game are… small. I never know which knife to carry. I don’t need 15 knives on my belt and, truth is, I probably won’t clean game until I get them home anyway. But I hate to leave a good knife behind.
There’s a small group that are my “first grab” choices, but the choices not pictured still call to me.
