In I think my Dad’s first genuinely collectible knife was a Colt Swing Hunter. He dug it out of some dusty little hardware store where they didn’t know what it was and he bought it for a song.

That Colt knife is surely a great collectible and I'm sure sentimental to you!  I have several Colt knives that I would never part with, but I've never seen that one!

Me neither. I'm partial to "vintage" knives and I've never seen that one before. Keep it safe, especially since it was dad's. You'll maybe never see another one again.
