Anyone have any ideas on recruiting new members? I got permission to post an ad on the Knife Addicts Anonymous group on Facebook...34K members but not even 1 like or comment! I have also deployed every SEO trick I know to get the forum on Google search faster but it takes time!
There has to be a way to spread the word without every free forum admin losing their mind and banning me, LOL! I swear, these free groups and pages are killing traditional forums by the day!

I think a big part of the problem is that Facebook and Reddit groups are hitting traditional forums hard, even though forums are easier to search and archive info and less affected by left wing delusion!

Yes. That's why I joined this forum to escape left wing delusion. I was on BF and someone posted a pretty political post and when I responded (politely without any angst.) I was warned in a not polite manner by staff not to get political. My responce was tame compared to the post I was responding to. Of course the other poster got no warning.
I guess I wasn't a favorite or one of the chosen ones...........LOL.
I'll never log into that site again.
I don't remember where I heard about this forum.
I'll tell friends about it though.

I have been pinged quite a few times on BF for things that other people were clearly doing...for example, I got nailed for starting a post that already had several old duplicates (like 3-4 years old) so later on, I replied to an older post and I got zinged for necroposting or bringing old posts back to life! So what the heck...which one is it? You just can't win...LOL!
