California switchblade ban upheld

I didn't read all of it, but banning automatic knives is silly. Hollywood made them scary but you'd be hard pressed to demonstrate how they're quicker to open vs modern flipper tab knives.

It's Hollywood and peoples perception that only crimminals and gang members use them.
Buck now makes a 110 automatic and I'd sure like to have one to go with the 110 I already own. Unfortunately the elected officials in the state I live seem to have never heard of the bill of rights. Neither do the unelected bureocrats.
Example---I was on the phone with a state employee that insisted I provide my federal tax returns to prove my innocence in a dispute. Not only did this person expect me to prove my innocence, when I asked them if they ever heard of the 4th amendment there was nothing but silence for several seconds until I broke it telling said person goodbye and hung up.
Control is more important to these people than rights or doing the right thing.
